The Whitsundays, known for their breathtaking waters and unbeatable fishing spots, became the backdrop of our latest adventure. Join us as we embarked on an unforgettable road trip, towing both our Noosa Cat and Lotus caravan over 700 kilometers with our trusty Chev Silverados to experience some of the best fishing Australia has to offer!

The Journey

The adventure began with our two Chev Silverado 2500s – the brand-new 2024 model alongside our reliable 2018 edition – towing our rig on a road trip to the Whitsundays. Our first stop was the BarraCrab Caravan Park in Clairview, a perfect place to rest before continuing on our journey.

Exploring the Whitsundays

Once we arrived in Airlie Beach, we couldn’t resist checking out Northerlies, a favorite for both locals and visitors. After enjoying the stunning beach vibes, we headed to Monties Hideaway Bay for some well-deserved fun, with a little partying before the big day on the water.

Fishing Day: Chasing Reds

With the boat in the water, we set off to chase red emperor around isolated rocks. There’s something truly magical about fishing in the Whitsundays, where the water is as clear as the sky, and the fish are always biting.

The Ultimate Towing Experience

Throughout the trip, our Chev Silverados proved their worth, handling the weight of our boat and caravan with ease. Whether it was towing off-road or cruising along the coastline, these trucks made the journey feel like a breeze.
